History of Antigua:

The noble city of Antigua also known in ancient times as Santiago de los Caballeros was the third capital of Coatemala General headquarters founded by Pedro de Alvarado the Spanish conqueror in 1542. Antigua is now considered Universal Heritage of Humanity. Surrounded by three magnificent volcanoes, Agua (Water), Fuego ( Fire ) ( Active ) and Acatenango wich are wonderful natural beauties to be observed and enjoyed. Antigua is a city full of color, also known as the city of roses, full of traditions and survivor of tremendous earthquakes during the early stages of its life. Besides of the spectacular constructions of the XVI and XVII centuries Antigua is also world wide known for the great quality of its coffee.

The Hotel:

Located within the land where the Convent of Santo Domingo was founded, location that allows our visitors be close to museums, churches, ruins, commercial areas, boutiques, restaurants and the beautiful Central Park. (See location map).

Our hotel counts wit Five comfortable and ample rooms each with it´s private bath for double occupancy. Two of our rooms have Two Queen Size beds, One room has a Queen Size bed, another room has one Queen Size bed plus a Full size bed. And the last room has a King Size bed.
